Ebensburg Main Street Partnership Home

The Ebensburg Main Street Partnership sponsors and organizes many events over the course of each year.  These events are sponsored, organized, and led by members of the community and local businesses for the local community. 

Wheels and Wings

Rev-up for the 4th annual "Wheels & Wings" event in Downtown Ebensburg! This car, truck and motorcycle show, combined with a wing-off, brings thousands to Downtown Ebensburg each year. It will take place this year on Thursday evening, June 26, 2008, once again in conjunction with Johnstown's Thunder in the Valley Motorcycle rally! The event is held along North Center Street and along adjacent streets. Show vehicles will be parked in paved lots throughout town, the band "Night Train" will play music and restaurants & vendors will serve up their best wings. Additional food items will also be available.  The wing-off and vehicle registration will begin at 5pm. The car show will run from 6pm-8pm with awards around 8:30pm. The band will play from 6:30pm-9:30pm. The event ends at 10pm. There will be no pre-registration. More Information

Ebensburg Homecoming

Ebensburg Homecoming was started in the summer of 2000 for the Ebensburg Bicentennial celebration. Since then, it has become a yearly tradition. Every July, the community gets together to celebrate the summer months and welcome former Ebensburg residents home. This year's event will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2008! The celebration consists of many different events, consisting of a Community Yard Sale, Farmer's Market, Book Sale, Fishing Derby, Children's Games, Live Music by the P.T. Cruiser Band at the Lake, and Fireworks at Dusk.

Farmers Market 

The Ebensburg Farmers Market began with the Ebensburg Bi-Centennial celebration in 1997. The Farmers Market begins the last Saturday of July in conjunction with the Homecoming celebration and ends in September each year. The Market is be held every Saturday, from 9 a.m. - noon. The Market features local growers and their produce, as well as, other homemade goodies.

Potatofest

Potatofest is an annual festival in downtown Ebensburg celebrating Cambria County potatoes and its growers. The county is the second largest supplier of potatoes in the state of Pennsylvania! The festival is a fun-filled day of arts, crafts, entertainment, and delicious food for the entire family. Entertainers perform throughout the day, crafters and artisans line the streets for blocks, and games are available for the children to play. Dickens of a Christmas

The 3rd Annual "Dickens of a Christmas" will take place in downtown Ebensburg December 5th - December 7th in 2008. This event focusses on Charles Dickens and the Victorian-era!  Enjoy sleigh and carriage rides, church and house tours, dances, ice sculptures, two craft shows, and so much more! Join in the Ebensburg Christmas parade on December 6th!

Art in Bloom Spring Art Show

The 10th Annual "Art in Bloom" Spring Art Show will take place in 2008 on April 26th & 27th at the Cambria County Courthouse. Show hours are Noon - 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday. Free Admission. The display will feature 171 pieces of artwork by professional and amateur artists from all over Pennsylvania. Artwork will be judged in five different categories: Painting, Drawing, Photography/Computer-Generated Art, Dimensional and Mixed Media.
