WHO IS MY GARBAGE HAULER?
Ebensburg Borough contracts out all garbage pick-up in the borough to one hauler. Lee's Disposal is the collection agency. Garbage is billed bi-monthly with your water and sewer bill.
Garbage Fee = $26.20 (every 2 months)

ARE THERE RECYCLING FACILITIES AVAILABLE?
Recycling is included with the garbage pick-up. The recycling pick-up is once a month along with the first garbage pick-up of the month. Recycling containers are available at the borough office. Below is a list of all recyclable items that may be included in pick-up:
Glass bottles, jugs, and jars only
Steel and aluminum cans
#1 and #2 plastic bottles, jugs, and jars only
All recyclables should be free of food residue and have lids removed, it is not necessary to remove labels. All recyclables can be placed in the same container. Do not place recyclables into plasic bags and/or put them inside or next to the recycling container.
The closest dropoff site is located on Manor Drive, next to Lions ballpark and near Lake Rowena.

WHEN CAN I BURN IN THE BOROUGH?
Open burning is permitted in Ebensburg within the borough on Tuesdays between 8 AM and 5 PM, and on Saturday morning between 8 AM and 12 noon. All fires must be contained in a receptacle designed for burning.
